Dine Allergy Safe Campaign

May 30, 2026

Join AddieTellsAll and FoodSage on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon at the California State Capitol Park (West Side Front Lawn, 1300 L St., Sacramento, CA 95814), as we celebrate two landmark milestones for the food allergy community.

  1. The passage of the ADDE Act (SB 68), the first law in the country requiring large restaurant chains to share allergen information on their menus in California.
  2. The official launch of the Dine Allergy Safe Fund, a designated fund at the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) to support a nationwide initiative to expand allergen labeling across more states.

Organized by AddieTellsAll and FoodSage, the event features a speaker program with representatives from the organizing team, AAFA, and sponsors; a group photo on the Capitol steps; a 1/3-mile community walk around the front lawn; and informational booths where attendees can connect with advocacy organizations and community partners. A DJ will keep the energy going all morning.

When you support this event by registering, donating, or fundraising, you also support the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America's Dine Allergy Safe Fund.

We chose AAFA as our partner because they've earned it. They have decades of experience in community-driven research, education, and advocacy for the food allergy community, and the partnership we built together to co-sponsor
SB 68 and get it passed into law.
